Aplin Wins 4 Awards in First 4 Months of 2018

It’s been a whirlwind first quarter at Aplin, and I couldn’t be more proud of my entire team and their outstanding accomplishments so far this year. We’re thrilled to be the lucky recipients of four awards so far this year, and it’s pushing us to continue striving for even more greatness yet to come.
We’re really kicking off 2018 with a bang! Here are some of our Q1 highlights…

Aplin Becomes Platinum Member of the Best Managed Program

Since 1993, Canada’s Best Managed Companies has become the country’s leading business awards program, recognizing excellence in Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $15 million.
David Aplin Group proudly accepted the 2018 Best Managed award, successfully propelling the firm into Platinum status. Achieving Platinum Membership status—the highest achievement awarded by the program, having won for the 7th consecutive year—pushes us to continue to evolve and grow our businesses. This year, we are most excited about the application of new technologies to talent acquisition and staffing in general. A special thank you to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for hosting a spectacular awards gala on April 11th in Toronto, ON.  

Aplin Group Wins the FEX FEYA

The Family Enterprise of the Year Award (FEYA) is given annually by FEX to recognize, celebrate and promote the achievements of Canadian family businesses and the considerable contribution they make to both their local communities and our national economy.
Congratulations once again to all the finalists, and we look forward to joining this distinguished group of family-owned businesses in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, this coming September 26, 2018.

Aplin Wins 2 Business Builder Awards

The Business Builder Awards, (BBAs), presented by Nutrien, are all about celebrating the achievements and accomplishments of its peers. In total, 13 distinguished awards are presented in a variety of categories. The third application was the charm this year for Aplin Group, as we were honoured with the Pursuit of Excellence and Quality Management awards. The event lived up to its self-described NSBA ideals as an evening that is “affordable, fast-paced and tremendous network opportunity.”
It has been a very busy first quarter to say the least, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the year. I’d like to share our success and thank the entire Aplin Group team for their hard work, commitment and passion—we couldn’t have done it without you.
