DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
Skills required are:

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable,
• Payroll and Benefits,
• GST Reconciliation and Remittances,
• Evaluating and implementing internal controls
• Assess financial controls and systems management
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word,
• Participate in Preparation of financial statements,

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing/reviewing daily reconciliation of key accounts
• Financial statement analysis, preparation and review,
• Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs
• Journal entry preparation and review,
• Government reporting,
• Managing and mentoring staff. Direct reports of 2 staff.
• Oversee and assist with budgets, payroll, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry
• Preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, preparation of monthly executive financial report.
• Maintain and implement finance, accounting and billing, procedures.
• Maintain and implement appropriate internal controls.
• Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide departments.
• Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
• Reconciliation of detail to control accounts for all Balance Sheet items, on a Period Basis.
• Responsiveness to the data reporting requirements of the other department heads.
