Commercial Insurance Manager

Compensation

• Competitive base salary between $90,000 – $115,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and operational oversight for the commercial broker team
• Develop and maintain a robust portfolio of commercial clients while supporting team sales and growth strategies
• Build and nurture strong client relationships through risk assessments and tailored insurance solutions
• Support complex underwriting and technical review to ensure policy accuracy and coverage adequacy
• Foster positive insurer relationships, negotiate terms, and advocate for clients
• Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan insurance regulations and internal policies
• Oversee workflow, monitor key performance indicators, and drive continuous process improvements
• Support claims management, risk mitigation initiatives, and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Insurance License 
• Proven experience in commercial insurance brokering or management, with knowledge of small to large risks including  commercial auto, property and casualty, cyber, D&O, and E&O
• Niche expertise in farm and agricultural insurance products is an asset
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage complex accounts and provide technical insurance guidance
• Experience leading a team of brokers is highly preferred
• Must be able to work in office full time
