The Opportunity
As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in protecting the organization’s financial strength while supporting its long-term strategy, operational excellence, and continued evolution.
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO and Board to influence business strategy, financial planning, organizational performance, and long-term sustainability.
- Financial Stewardship: Lead financial reporting, forecasting, capital management, treasury, investment oversight, and financial controls.
- Risk & Regulatory Leadership: Provide executive oversight of enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, capital adequacy, and corporate governance.
- Executive Partnership: Translate complex financial information into meaningful insights that support confident, informed decisions.
- People & Performance: Inspire, mentor, and develop a collaborative, high-performing team while championing continuous improvement and innovation.
We are seeking an accomplished financial executive who combines strong technical expertise with commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and an authentic, people-centred leadership style.
- Significant progressive financial leadership experience within the insurance industry, preferably property and casualty (P&C).
- A strong understanding of insurance financial reporting, regulatory requirements, capital management, and enterprise risk.
- Experience partnering with senior executives, Boards of Directors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- The ability to balance financial discipline with innovation, strategic growth, and organizational performance.
- Exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, integrity, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
- A CPA designation is preferred, along with relevant post-secondary education.
