Medical Billing Clerk

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Clerk for an immediate, temporary, part-time, onsite position in Winnipeg.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. At least 1 year of experience using Accuro is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and process physician billings accurately and efficiently using Accuro
• Reconcile incoming payments and investigate any discrepancies
• Organize and maintain supporting documentation for billing and payment records
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding billing questions, discrepancies, and updates

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing experience in a healthcare setting
• 1+ year of experience using Accuro
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A criminal background check is required
