Team Lead, Drilling

Urgently hiring! Our Saskatoon-based mining client is urgently seeking a Team Lead to support their drilling programs. This is a 6-week, field-based opportunity in beautiful Northern Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage diamond core drilling rigs, ensuring safe and efficient operations
• Borehole tracking and drillhole management using Leapfrog modelling software
• Real-time geosteering and geological interpretation
• Coordinate daily drilling activities and contractor performance
• Provide technical guidance and support to field crews
• Ensure drilling data quality, accuracy, and timely reporting
• Monitor program progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Assist with drill targeting, planning, and execution of exploration objectives

Qualifications

• Experience with exploration drilling programs in Oil and Gas and/or Mining
• Experience leading a team in a field/remote setting
• Based in Saskatoon or willing to travel to Saskatoon for transportation to site
