We are hiring a Human Resources Business Partner for our Leduc, Alberta client. Supporting a diverse workforce across multiple business units, this role offers the opportunity to influence HR strategy, coach a growing team, improve processes, and take ownership of key employee initiatives. Working closely with the HR Director, this role acts as a key partner and provides the opportunity to influence HR strategy, mentor a team, and step into greater leadership responsibilities. The HR Business Partner supports multiple locations and must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel locally and within Canada.

About The Position
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational needs, provide proactive HR solutions, and support organizational goals
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, processes, and procedures
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to members of the HR team to enhance quality, consistency, and effectiveness
- Support the delivery of employee programs focused on engagement, performance, recognition, and organizational development
- Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve HR operations, streamline processes, and implement solutions that support business needs
- Develop training resources and support the delivery of learning initiatives for employees and leaders
- Build strong relationships with employees and leaders by providing approachable, solutions-focused HR support
- Provide HR support across multiple locations, including occasional travel to other office and operational sites
- Serve as a key point of support for the HR Director, providing coverage and leadership support when required
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting a variety of employee and business needs in a generalist or HR business partner capacity
- CPHR designation or in progress towards completion
- Proven experience managing employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and providing sound recommendations to leadership
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting the development of HR team members with a collaborative leadership approach
- Solid understanding of employment legislation, HR best practices, and the ability to stay current with evolving workplace trends and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to develop and improve HR programs, policies, processes, and procedures that support organizational goals
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations, consider long-term impacts, and provide practical solutions
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a multi-site or operational environment is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel periodically between locations and within Canada
- Annual salary range $90,000 - $100,000
