Our client, a well-established organization supporting essential operations within the industrial and energy sectors, is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their HR team in Leduc, AB. This is a fully on-site role.

Reporting to the HR Director, this role will manage full-cycle recruitment with a focus on high-volume hiring, candidate sourcing, and supporting field-based operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and recruiting within industrial, energy, construction, trades, safety, or similar sectors.

This position will require occasional travel to various sites throughout the Edmonton area to support recruitment initiatives, hiring activities, and operational needs. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing and screening through interviews, offers, and onboarding
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing and high-volume hiring needs
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and industry events
  • Conduct resume reviews, pre-screening calls, and candidate interviews
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and support recruitment strategies
  • Coordinate new hire training and onboarding activities
  • Prepare employment agreements and support pre-employment requirements
  • Attend job fairs and industry networking events to attract qualified talent
  • Support recruitment activities across various field locations as required
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience
  • Provide HR support and assist with additional projects as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience with high-volume or seasonal recruitment preferred
  • Previous recruiting experience within industrial, oil & gas, energy, construction, trades, safety, or field-based environments strongly preferred
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Experience with ATS/HRIS systems; Vista ViewPoint experience is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms including Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Understanding of Human Rights legislation related to recruitment practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple roles, and take ownership of recruitment activities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
