Our national insurer client is looking to hire an experienced Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster for their Edmonton office. Compensation
- The role features a competitive base salary between $80,000 - $98,000, complemented by performance-based incentives. Details about the specific pay structure will be discussed during the interview process.

- Oversee a portfolio of bodily injury claims, including those originating out of province
- Validate policy coverages, determine liability, and verify claim eligibility
- Examine medical reports and treatment plans to evaluate claim costs
- Negotiate settlements with claimant representatives effectively
- Participate in mediations, legal examinations, and court proceedings as necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all claim activity
- Communicate effectively within the claims team and with external stakeholders
- Support operations during periods of high claim volume by managing overflow files
- Carry out additional duties as needed to support team goals
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in bodily injury claims, in Alberta
- Proven experience in mediations, arbitration, and litigation processes
- Familiarity with CareFirst, General Commercial Liability, and Personal Liability policies
- Experience handling claims across multiple jurisdictions is a plus
- Post-secondary education and/or CIP/FCIP certification, or actively working toward these credentials
- Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, and communication
- Knowledge of medical terminology, injury types, treatment protocols, and recovery timelines
- Ability to manage out-of-province claims and thrive in a collaborative team environment
