Aplin is seeking a reliable Labor and Trades Helper for an immediate temporary opportunity to support the day-to-day maintenance and operation for a client in Saskatoon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in building maintenance, general repairs, and facility operations who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Compensation
- Expected compensation is $20 per hour
- Perform routine lighting inspections and replace light bulbs and ballasts.
- Maintain inventory of electrical maintenance components and supplies.
- Move, assemble, and install office furniture and fixtures.
- Conduct daily inspections of building equipment and machinery.
- Change HVAC filters and monitor building systems by recording gauge readings and operational data.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including:
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Replacing ceiling tiles
- Adjusting and repairing doors, weather stripping, hinges, and hardware
- General building maintenance tasks
- Assist with contractor coordination and onsite logistics.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid WHMIS certification.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in general maintenance, facility operations, or a related role.
- Working knowledge of basic mechanical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Comfortable working at heights to perform lighting inspections and replacements.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials, furniture, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete maintenance records accurately.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
