Our client is seeking an experienced Shop Manager to lead its truck and trailer repair facility in Red Deer. The Role
The Shop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the repair shop, leading a small team of technicians while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

The Role
The Shop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the repair shop, leading a small team of technicians while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians.
- Manage daily shop workflow, scheduling, and productivity.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service.
- Monitor shop performance and implement process improvements.
- Ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain repair records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage equipment, tooling, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor operational performance and contribute to the shop's profitability.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in a truck, trailer, heavy equipment, or commercial vehicle repair environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience managing shop operations, scheduling, and workflow.
- Sound business acumen with an understanding of operational performance and financial results.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
