Medical Intake Coordinator

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Intake Coordinator to support the intake and coordination of new legal matters related to medical defence and health law. This role is responsible for ensuring new files are opened accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional service to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and accurately record client and case information.
• Conduct conflict checks prior to opening new legal matters.
• Open and maintain files within the firm's case management system.
• Coordinate with lawyers, legal assistants, and clients to obtain required documentation.
• Ensure all client information and legal records are handled with the highest level of confidentiality.
• Provide administrative support throughout the client intake process.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Experience in legal administration, client intake, or a similar administrative role.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive medical and legal information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience working in a law firm is considered a strong asset.
