About the Role
This is a client-facing leadership role within the firm’s tax group. You will work closely with Partners, Managers, and other team members to support tax compliance, planning, research, and advisory work for new and existing clients.
The role is well suited for someone with strong Canadian private company tax experience who enjoys both technical tax work and supporting the development of junior staff.

Responsibilities
- Prepare tax research, correspondence, and technical memos
- Review complex tax compliance work, including tax returns and election forms
- Support clients with tax and business planning matters
- Assist with tax reorganizations, transactions, and planning opportunities
- Provide technical support to team members on tax-related questions
- Coach and mentor junior staff
- Work with the broader team to identify planning opportunities for existing clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- CPA designation
- Currently enrolled in or completed CPA Canada In-Depth Tax
- 4+ years of public practice experience
- Minimum 2 years of Canadian private company tax experience
- Strong tax compliance background
- Experience with tax reorganizations and transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Client-focused, collaborative, and comfortable working closely with Partners and team members
- $100,000 – $140,000 base salary, depending on experience
