This is a key Senior Management position with a leading international miner poised to more than double gold production. Reporting to the Mine General Manager, the Underground Mine Manager is responsible for the overall management of people, safety, partnerships, and production. This position directs tactical and strategic mining plans, ensuring that departmental performance is executed in a safe and efficient manner. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this role has direct influence on the development and delivery of the mine’s strategic business plan.
Our ideal candidate has career underground expertise with progressive supervisory experience in a minimum of a Superintendent role, preferably Management. Proficiency with ERP systems is essential, along with demonstrated leadership competencies and strong communication skills. This role requires the ability to influence and inspire others while managing cross-functional key relationships.
This is a fly-in fly-out position based on a 14-day in, 14-day out default work rotation with a competitive and industry-leading total compensation package.
Salary Range: $180,000 - $230,000
