About the Role
Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role will support the accounting and financial operations across corporate entities, active development projects, and income-producing properties.

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and supporting working papers for internal reporting purposes
- Assist with cash flow management, including forecasting receipts, disbursements, and projected cash balances
- Perform regular reconciliations, including bank accounts and corporate credit cards
- Support month-end and year-end close processes through preparation of supporting schedules and maintaining organized financial records
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to strengthening accounting procedures and workflows
- Collaborate closely with development, construction, and asset management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting across projects and properties
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as required to support overall finance operations
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate, development, construction, or a related industry
- Experience preparing financial statement packages and supporting month-end reporting processes
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight reporting timelines
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Salary target of $75,000–$82,000
- Annual performance bonus of approximately 10%
