About the Role
Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role will support the accounting and financial operations across corporate entities, active development projects, and income-producing properties.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting functions while working closely with internal stakeholders across development, construction, and asset management teams. Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and supporting working papers for internal reporting purposes
• Assist with cash flow management, including forecasting receipts, disbursements, and projected cash balances
• Perform regular reconciliations, including bank accounts and corporate credit cards
• Support month-end and year-end close processes through preparation of supporting schedules and maintaining organized financial records
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to strengthening accounting procedures and workflows
• Collaborate closely with development, construction, and asset management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting across projects and properties
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as required to support overall finance operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate, development, construction, or a related industry
• Experience preparing financial statement packages and supporting month-end reporting processes
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight reporting timelines
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary target of $75,000–$82,000
• Annual performance bonus of approximately 10%
