You’ll collaborate closely with insurers, negotiate competitive terms, and help deliver tailored coverage solutions for a diverse portfolio of notable clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the underwriting, design, and placement of complex, multi-layered commercial insurance programs across various risk classes.
- Manage all aspects of renewals, working with manuscript wordings and conducting analysis on policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with core insurers, reinsurers, and capacity providers.
- Collaborate on strategic negotiations regarding capacity, pricing, delegated authorities, and long-term partnerships.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to a junior marketer, supporting their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and oversee all policy issuance and record-keeping.
- Participate in market forums, insurer meetings, and industry events to strengthen market presence and market intelligence.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in commercial insurance placement.
- Proven track record in placing complex, multi-insurer programs.
- Deep knowledge of insurer market dynamics, capacity management, and placement strategies.
- Strong relationships with senior underwriters and market authorities.
- Experience with DUA is nice to have
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a confident market presence.
- Proficiency in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with policy wording processes.
- Fully remote with the flexibility to work across BC, or Alberta.
- Competitive base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 (negotiable depending on your experience)
