Business Analyst

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for an immediate onsite contract opportunity in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical stakeholders and technical teams to support healthcare transformation initiatives, workflow optimization, system implementations, testing activities, and enterprise migration projects within an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with clinical stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve healthcare workflows and business processes.
• Support implementation and optimization of healthcare systems and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead business analysis activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and execute software testing strategies including test plans, test estimates, test scripts, and defect management.
• Support implementation and enhancement activities related to Altera Sunrise EPR.
• Assist with M365 mail migration initiatives in healthcare environments.
• Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and healthcare operations staff to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide documentation, reporting, and change management support throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certification in Business Analysis.
• Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an analyst role working directly with clinical stakeholders to implement workflow changes or new systems within a healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience implementing cardiovascular health projects in a large-scale acute care environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and executing software testing activities including:
  • Test planning
  • Test estimates
  • Test case development
  • Test execution and defect tracking
• Minimum 1 year of experience implementing or supporting Altera Sunrise EPR.
• Minimum 1 year of experience implementing M365 mail migration projects in a healthcare environment.
• Criminal background check is required
