Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist for an immediate long-term remote contract opportunity. The successful candidate will support healthcare information system initiatives by providing business analysis expertise, clinical workflow analysis, EMR implementation support, training coordination, and system testing within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis activities for healthcare information system initiatives
- Analyze current and future-state clinical workflows and operational processes
- Support EMR implementation and upgrade projects within clinical environments
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and gather business requirements
- Develop process maps, workflow documentation, and functional specifications
- Create and deliver end-user training materials and training sessions
- Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and user acceptance testing activities
- Collaborate with clinical teams, technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Support organizational readiness and change management activities
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary clinical teams while supporting healthcare operations and patient care environments
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Business Analysis
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing business analysis tasks supporting information system implementation projects and process mapping activities in a healthcare environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing business analysis in a healthcare environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing or upgrading Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in a clinical setting, including analyzing and developing clinical workflows
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting information system training through delivery of end-user training and development of training materials
- Minimum 3 years of experience testing information systems, including development of test plans, test scripts, and execution of system and user acceptance testing
- Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating with multidisciplinary clinical teams while providing direct patient care in a healthcare environment
- Criminal background check is required
