Our client, a well-established and growing company in the fresh food distribution industry, is looking for a driven Account Manager to join their high-performing Sales team in Vancouver, BC.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:
- Base Salary: $55,000 – $65,000
- Commission + Bonus Program (strong earning potential based on performance)
- 5 days a week on-site in Vancouver, BC

- Long-term growth and development opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across assigned accounts
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts (approx. 60% account management)
- Prospect and source new business opportunities through a disciplined sales approach
- Prepare annual sales plans and quarterly forecasting updates
- Negotiate pricing while staying informed on market trends, supply, and product quality
- Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships and drive growth
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to increase revenue
- Provide support to other Account Managers during vacations or absences
- Represent the company professionally as a trusted partner and main point of contact
- 2+ years of sales and/or account management experience (B2B preferred)
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Confident communicator with a professional phone presence
- Highly driven, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance and results
- Organized and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- College/University education preferred (Business/Economics is an asset)
- A second language is an asset
- Experience in perishables (produce, seafood, dairy, etc.) is considered a strong asset
