Aplin is proud to support a long-standing client in the hiring of a Digital Experience Manager to lead optimization across the end-to-end digital customer journey. This role focuses on improving how customers interact with the brand online, with a strong emphasis on conversion, usability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for optimizing key digital touchpoints including checkout, pricing presentation, subscription flows, and post-purchase experiences. You will leverage customer insights, data, and experimentation to identify opportunities that improve performance and drive measurable business impact.
Working closely with teams across Product, UX, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Pricing, and Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping and improving the digital experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set priorities, guide strategy, and ensure consistent execution across multiple initiatives.
This is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week) with flexible hybrid or in-office work arrangements. Candidates must live in the Edmonton, AB area.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team focused on improving digital conversion, engagement, and customer lifetime value
- Own the end-to-end digital experience, including checkout flows, pricing presentation, subscription journeys, and post-purchase touchpoints
- Build and manage a prioritized roadmap of digital experience improvements, balancing quick wins with longer-term strategic initiatives
- Use qualitative and quantitative customer insights to identify friction points and optimization opportunities
- Partner with Data & Analytics to translate insights into actionable, testable initiatives
- Oversee experimentation and A/B testing programs, ensuring tests are well designed, prioritized, and tied to measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with UX, Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Marketing to deliver coordinated improvements across the digital experience
- Review and guide improvements to UX, content, layout, and workflows to improve clarity, consistency, and performance
- Monitor key performance metrics and identify ongoing optimization opportunities
- Communicate roadmap priorities, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
- Develop playbooks and best practices to scale successful optimization approaches
The Essentials
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Design, or a related field
- Proven experience leading and developing teams in a digital, ecommerce, UX, growth, or product environment
- Strong experience managing complex projects and delivering against KPIs
- Ability to prioritize and execute across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Background in conversion optimization, UX, ecommerce, or growth marketing
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, digital psychology, and conversion principles
- Experience designing and running A/B testing or experimentation programs
- Ability to translate business objectives into structured roadmaps and actionable initiatives
- Experience using AI or digital tools to improve workflow efficiency
- Curious, proactive mindset with a focus on continuous digital improvement
- Experience with subscription-based business models and pricing strategy
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and front-end digital environments
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, or similar
- Strong understanding of ecommerce optimization and conversion best practices
- Experience in continuous experimentation environments (A/B or multivariate testing)
- Excellent total compensation package (expected salary range $90,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience)
