Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and hospitality projects across British Columbia. With a growing pipeline of work throughout the Interior and Lower Mainland, they are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead a fast-paced restaurant base building project in Penticton.
About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in commercial interiors, restaurant builds, and fast-track project delivery to take ownership of a $3.5M restaurant development from mobilization through to completion.
The project consists of a full restaurant base building and interior fit-out with an aggressive 22-week construction schedule running from June 15th through November 20th. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating trades, maintaining schedule, driving quality, and ensuring a smooth project delivery in a highly collaborative environment.
Candidates can either be based locally within the Okanagan or travel from the Lower Mainland with per diem support provided.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations from mobilization through project closeout
- Coordinate and supervise all trades, subcontractors, and on-site activities
- Drive schedule performance on a compressed fast-track build
- Maintain site safety, quality control, and construction standards
- Lead site meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders
- Manage inspections, deficiencies, and turnover processes
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation through Procore
- Work closely alongside the Project Manager to ensure successful project execution
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent on commercial base building projects
- Strong background delivering restaurant, retail, hospitality, or commercial TI projects
- Experience managing projects in the $3M–$5M range from mobilization to closeout
- Demonstrated success working within fast-track construction schedules
- Strong Procore experience and overall technology/reporting rigor
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work on-site in Penticton for the duration of the project
- $130,000 – $150,000 base salary
- Per diem/travel support available for Lower Mainland candidates
- 100% premium paid for on benefits
