Our client, a well-established and respected public accounting firm in Calgary, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team in Calgary, Alberta. With over 30 years of success, this firm is known for its strong client relationships, collaborative culture, and commitment to developing long-term talent. This is a 100% in-office position (5 days/week) based in Calgary.

- Prepare and complete compilation engagements (Notice to Reader)
- Prepare working papers and financial statements in accordance with firm standards
- Prepare personal, corporate, and trust tax returns
- Support more complex client files and larger engagements as required
- Work directly with clients to answer questions and provide ongoing support
- Assist with identifying opportunities for additional tax planning and advisory services
- Collaborate closely with partners and internal team members to ensure high-quality client delivery
- 2–5+ years of experience in public practice accounting
- Strong experience with personal, corporate, and trust returns
- Experience with compilation engagements (NTR) strongly preferred
- Proficiency with CaseWare and QuickBooks is an asset
- Experience with tax software such as TaxCycle, ProFile, or TaxPrep is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA designation is an asset but not required
- Ability to work 5 days/week in-office in Calgary
