The Role

The Role
In this position, you will manage residential conveyancing files from start to finish and play a key role in ensuring smooth and timely closings. Responsibilities include:
- Managing approximately 15-25 closings per month
- Completing due diligence and registry searches (Corporate Registry, PPR, Land Titles, tax searches, etc.)
- Preparing, reviewing, and processing mortgage instructions
- Communicating with clients and providing regular file updates
- Collaborating closely with lawyers, staff, and clients to ensure efficient file progression
- Following instructions while working independently within a professional team environment
- Paralegal diploma or Legal Assistant certificate/diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of residential conveyancing experience
- Commercial transaction experience is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive, positive, and professional approach when working with clients and colleagues
