Aplin is proud to partner with our client to hire two Litigation Legal Assistants / Paralegals for their downtown and southside offices.

Overview:
In this role, you will manage a variety of legal files with precision and professionalism, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. Join a busy litigation team supporting case management, filings, and legal document preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage litigation files from start to finish
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and court forms
  • Maintain lawyer calendars and track deadlines
  • Conduct legal research, registry searches, and court filings
  • Prepare and file documents with the Personal Property Registry and Land Titles system
  • Review and proofread documents
  • Handle billing, trust requests, and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years supporting litigation teams
  • Knowledge of Alberta litigation procedures and Rules of Court
  • Ability to prepare routine legal documents independently
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
