Join a top national employer who are seeking a Branch Manager for their well-established Markham office. This is a true blended operational and sales leadership role built for someone who thrives on coaching producers, account executives, and account managers, rebuilding momentum, and turning "stuck pipelines" into steady wins. Majority of the clientele that the office deals with are Mandarin/Cantonese speaking and so proficiency in those languages is essential for the role. You will be responsible for setting clear targets, strengthen business development habits, and create an environment where performance and professionalism go hand in hand. 

Compensation
  • $100,000 to $125,000 in salary

Responsibilities
  • Lead day to day team management for commercial insurance operations, driving growth and stability
  • Coach and develop producers and account executives through regular feedback, performance management, and accountability
  • Set targets and track progress tied to revenue, policy count, accounts receivable, book quality, and expense management
  • Communicate and execute strategies to ensure branch goals and service standards are met
  • Collaborate with internal leaders to analyze and resolve quality, customer service, and sales challenges
  • Own staffing and leadership responsibilities, including hiring, performance management, and team planning
  • Support learning & development across the team, including succession planning for key roles
  • Oversee general team administration (including coordination tied to IT, payroll, and HR related updates)
  • Support marketing, advertising initiatives, and sales events or trade shows as needed
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years' industry experience
  • 3 years' experience in a formal people leadership role
  • RIBO License
  • Fluency in English & Mandarin/Cantonese
  • Strong sales leadership mindset with the ability to motivate experienced producers and restore pipeline activity
  • Strong communication and people skills with a customer driven, collaborative approach
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities with strong organization and follow through
  • Analytical mindset to monitor results and adjust tactics to hit targets
  • Nice to haves: Experience with Applied EPIC, Industry Designations such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM
