Electrical Project Manager/Estimator – Project Delivery

In this role, you will own the full job lifecycle from winning the work through estimating, planning, procurement, labor coordination, billing, client communication, and closeout. • $85,000 - $120,000 Annual Salary

Responsibilities

• Manage projects end to end: estimating, planning, scheduling, procurement, labor management, billing, and closeout
• Prepare estimates and tenders, including pricing change orders and supporting project award
• Review contracts and flag onerous clauses, risks, and scope gaps before committing
• Lead project financials: budgets, forecasting, progress billings, and cost control
• Coordinate internal teams and field leadership to keep schedules, quality, and productivity on track
• Maintain strong client communication and contribute to relationship building and business development
• Attend job sites as needed to support execution, resolve issues, and drive closeout and deficiency management
• Complete closeout reviews with the supervisor and superintendent to capture lessons learned and improve delivery

Qualifications Required

• One of the following:
  • Electrical trade certificate (Red Seal Electrician), or
  • Electrical Engineering degree, or
  • Electrical Technologist diploma or certificate
• 3+ years of electrical project management and/or estimating experience
• Proven estimating capability, including change order pricing
• Experience managing multiple projects from startup to closeout
• Comfortable working mostly office based with limited work from home expectations
• Located on Vancouver Island or willing to relocate (generally without relocation assistance)
• Exposure to a wide range of project values, roughly $100K to $40M

Nice to have

• Accubid (including Accubid Pro and Change Order)
• FSR A or B
• Tools: Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Office
• Commercial and institutional new build experience, plus mixed use residential with commercial at grade and community focused facilities
