We are currently recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant for a well-established organization in the manufacturing industry in Edmonton. This is a hands-on role supporting one senior executive and is ideal for someone who is highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership in a busy operational environment.

The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to the executive, helping manage their day, stay ahead of priorities, and ensure important commitments and follow-ups don't fall through the cracks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated executive support to one senior leader, managing day-to-day priorities and administrative needs.
  • Manage a busy calendar, schedule meetings, and proactively address conflicts and changing priorities.
  • Monitor and organize email, flagging time-sensitive items and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodations, and related logistics.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, documents, presentations, reports, and other executive materials.
  • Attend meetings as required, capture key information and action items, and ensure follow-ups are completed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and other external stakeholders on behalf of the executive.
  • Anticipate upcoming needs and proactively gather information or prepare materials.
  • Assist with administrative and operational projects as they arise.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
  • Provide occasional support outside regular business hours when urgent matters arise.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive Executive Assistant or senior administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated experience directly supporting a senior executive.
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs rather than wait for specific direction.
  • Strong judgment and confidence managing sensitive or confidential matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a practical, hands-on and operational business environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly when priorities change.
  • Manufacturing or other industrial-sector experience is strongly preferred.
