ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a Plumbing Estimator position based in-office in Burnaby (no work-from-home). The business has an immediate need to stabilize and strengthen estimating capacity.
You’ll be focused on plumbing/piping estimating only (including change-order takeoffs), supporting a steady bid cadence and working closely with preconstruction leadership and PMs to refine takeoff assumptions and pricing accuracy over time.

ABOUT THE POSITION
- Complete plumbing takeoffs and detailed estimates for bid submissions
- Handle change order takeoffs and support pricing revisions as needed
- Manage multiple concurrent bids and competing internal deadlines with PMs and preconstruction team
- Review and refine estimates with the Preconstruction Manager and project team pre-tender
- Continuously improve takeoff parameters using real site feedback (tight loop between estimating and execution)
- Report directly to Preconstruction Manager.
- 2-5 years of plumbing takeoff/estimating experience
- Strong working knowledge of BC Plumbing Code
- Able to manage 1–3 bids/week with bid values ranging from $20K to $40M
- Comfortable working fully in-office in Burnaby (local candidate; no WFH)
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to handle fast-moving bid cycles
- Base salary target: $80,000 - $130,000
- 3-4 weeks vacation
