We're recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join a well-established company in northwest Edmonton. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys full-cycle accounts payable but also likes variety, as the role includes a mix of accounting, reception, and office administration.

This is a fully in office position in NW Edmonton.
 

What You'll Be Doing
Accounts Payable (Approximately 70%)
  • Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, EFTs, cheque runs, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Obtain invoice approvals and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards and fuel charges.
  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts and complete credit applications.
  • Track and manage petty cash.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform high-volume data entry.
Reception & Administration (Approximately 30%)
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and greet visitors.
  • Provide administrative support to project, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Coordinate office programs, employee events, birthdays, lunches, and other office initiatives.
  • Manage office supplies, printers, mail, business licenses, and vendor service contracts.
  • Support equipment tracking and general office operations.

What We're Looking For
  • 3-5 years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume data entry.
  • Confident, proactive personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a casual construction environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative to improve processes.
  • Construction industry experience is an asset.
