We are working with our client, Gradient Thermal, a Calgary-based high-end heating company that is transforming the residential heating industry through innovative, energy-efficient technology. Following significant year-over-year growth, they are looking to add a Vice President, Commercial Growth, to help lead the next stage of the company's expansion.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales leader who enjoys building businesses, developing markets, and creating scalable sales strategies. Working closely with the Founder & CEO, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth while helping shape the company's long-term commercial strategy.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the company's commercial growth strategy across Western Canada and beyond.
- Personally drive new business development, strategic account growth, and major customer relationships.
- Expand existing relationships with home builders, developers, HVAC contractors, distributors, and channel partners.
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities across British Columbia, Ontario, and other target regions.
- Develop new sales channels, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.
- Build sales processes, forecasting, KPIs, CRM best practices, and performance metrics.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop future sales talent as the company continues to grow.
- Partner closely with the Founder & CEO to prioritize opportunities, execute strategic initiatives, and drive organizational growth.
- Proven success growing revenue through business development, strategic account management, and market expansion.
- Experience selling through complex, relationship-driven sales cycles.
- Background selling to residential builders, construction companies, HVAC contractors, distributors, dealers, or similar channel-based organizations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building teams, processes, and scalable sales organizations.
- Excellent business acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning.
- A hands-on leader who enjoys both developing strategy and personally closing business.
- Experience within HVAC, building products, construction products, manufacturing, or related industries is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is highly preferred.
