We are hiring a Receptionist to help our Vancouver client with vacation coverage. This temporary Receptionist role will be for a week and a half. The Receptionist will be responsible for phones, greeting visitors, and general office operations.  

About the Opportunity
This temporary Receptionist position is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office while delivering a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, clients, and staff. The role combines reception, office coordination, hospitality, light facility upkeep, meeting support, and administrative assistance, including managing calls and correspondence, maintaining shared spaces, coordinating office supplies and catering, and providing general support to management and employees as needed.

About the Position
  • Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing incoming inquiries.
  • Coordinate mail, couriers, deliveries, and general front desk operations.
  • Maintain the kitchen, breakroom, boardrooms, and common areas to ensure a clean and organized office.
  • Prepare refreshments, order office snacks and supplies, and support office hospitality.
  • Set up and clean up meeting rooms, lunches, and internal events.
  • Assist with internal communications, Teams meeting setup, and daily office updates.
  • Provide scheduling, administrative, and ad hoc support to management and staff.
Requirements 
  • 1 + year of previous reception, front desk, or administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Professional, friendly, and customer-focused communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable performing light office upkeep and supporting hospitality functions.
Compensation
  • Hourly pay rate between $20.00 – 24.00.
