Responsibilities
  • Coordinate domestic and international time-critical air and ground shipments based on customer requirements.
  • Book shipments with carriers and coordinate pickups, deliveries, and customs clearance.
  • Prepare shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOL), MAWB, HAWB, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Origin.
  • Monitor shipments from origin to destination, ensuring service commitments are met and proactively resolving delays.
  • Maintain accurate shipment information within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Communicate shipment updates and exceptions to customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Source competitive transportation solutions and develop efficient routing options.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, brokers, and logistics partners.
  • Prepare operational reports and ensure a high level of customer service in a 24/7 logistics environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure critical shipments are delivered successfully.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a time-critical logistics environment, preferably within air freight, freight forwarding, expedited transportation, or courier operations.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international import/export operations.
  • Experience coordinating air and ground freight shipments.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is an asset.
  • Dangerous Goods knowledge or certification is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant logistics experience.
  • Must be available to work the following overnight schedule:
    • Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
    • Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
    • Monday: 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM
    • Tuesday: 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM
