Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerk 3 to join their Safety Branch team on a 2-month contract. Based fully on-site in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, this role provides administrative support that helps ensure timely service for employers, stakeholders, and members of the public. Compensation, Benefits & Perks
- Competitive hourly rate of $20–$22/hr, based on experience
- Full-time contract position from July 6th, 2026 to September 11th, 2026
- Monday to Friday schedule with standard business hours
- Gain valuable experience supporting a public-facing administrative team
- Collaborative and professional office environment
- Fully on-site role in Dartmouth, NS
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Safety Branch team
- Respond to inquiries and assist in ensuring calls and requests are handled efficiently
- Prepare, review, and verify documents for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain records and filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
- Assist with maintaining office inventories and supplies
- Coordinate and distribute inter-office mail and correspondence
- Support daily office operations and perform a variety of administrative assignments
- Exercise sound judgment when handling exceptions to established procedures and guidelines
- Perform additional clerical duties as assigned to support business needs
- Grade 12 education plus four (4) years of related administrative or clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with standard office software and administrative systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills when working within established procedures
- Experience maintaining records, preparing documentation, and supporting office operations is considered an asset
- Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
