  • Oversee day-to-day compensation operations, including compensation recommendations for executive and senior-level hires, promotions, internal moves, and retention situations
  • Provide expert guidance on complex and sensitive compensation matters, balancing market competitiveness, internal equity, cost considerations, governance requirements, and enterprise context
  • Lead compensation benchmarking and market analysis across functions, levels, and locations to inform pay decisions, executive positioning, and strategic direction
  • Oversee the annual compensation cycle, including salary review and incentive decision support, and partner with senior leaders on pay decisions
HRC and Board Support
  • Support HR leadership in preparing materials, insights, and recommendations for Human Resources Committee and Board discussions
  • Translate external market trends, governance developments, and shareholder expectations into clear recommendations for executive and Board decision-making
Management Proxy Circular and Governance
  • Lead the preparation of the Compensation Discussion & Analysis section of the Management Proxy Circular, including narrative development, quantitative analysis, exhibits, and compliance with applicable securities disclosure requirements
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Corporate Secretary to ensure proxy disclosure is accurate, well-supported, and aligned with compensation decisions and governance standards
  • Review draft proxy advisor reports from ISS and Glass Lewis and assess voting guideline developments for implications to pay programs, governance practices, and disclosure
Executive Mobility
  • Develop guidelines and policies for international relocations and transfers, including across affiliated entities (including between Power Corp entities)
  • Provide ongoing support, including taxation, intercompany payments, and governance for expatriate assignments and secondments
