About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Superintendent to take ownership of complex concrete high-rise projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role onsite, overseeing field operations, managing site teams and trade coordination, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Consultants, Subtrades, and Ownership groups to ensure smooth project execution and strong communication throughout all phases of construction.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive concrete high-rise experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident managing large teams and complex construction schedules.

Responsibilities
- Lead all onsite construction activities from excavation through project completion
- Manage Assistant Superintendents, Site Superintendents, and field staff
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, consultants, and site operations
- Maintain and update project schedules alongside the Project Management team
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control reviews
- Lead subcontractor and consultant meetings
- Coordinate municipal inspections, permits, and occupancy requirements
- Review architectural and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability
- Identify scheduling issues and proactively implement solutions
- Monitor project progress, manpower, and site logistics
- Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and professionalism at all times
- Assist with project planning, pre-construction logistics, and budgeting activities
- Review progress claims, vendor invoices, and field reporting documentation
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, trades, and regulatory authorities
- 15+ years of experience within concrete high-rise construction
- Previous experience in a Senior Superintendent or large project leadership capacity
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
- Proven ability to lead large site teams and multiple subcontractors
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
- Experience managing projects in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance requirements
- Gold Seal Certification considered an asset
- Red Seal Trade Certification considered an asset
- First Aid and WHMIS certifications preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience considered an asset
- $170,000 - $200,000 depending on experience
