Our client, a growing discretionary portfolio management firm, is seeking a relationship-driven Portfolio Manager – Client Relationship Manager to join their client-facing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an investment professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, supporting business development, and delivering a high-touch wealth management experience in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities
  • Support prospect meetings, investment presentations, and client follow-ups
  • Lead the client onboarding process, including account documentation and compliance coordination
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients
  • Deliver exceptional, high-touch client service and ongoing portfolio support
  • Partner closely with Portfolio Managers and internal teams to enhance the client experience
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and support firm growth
Qualification
  • CFA Level I completed or CIM designation required
  • Registered as a Portfolio Manager (or eligible for registration)
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management, portfolio management, or client relationship management
  • Strong understanding of discretionary portfolios, investment products, and Canadian regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong relationship-management mindset
