Aplin is pleased to partner with our long-term client in Edmonton to hire a Senior Residential Real Estate Paralegal to join their established Real Estate team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced legal professional with approximately 10+ years of residential real estate experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing files independently while delivering exceptional client service.
Salary: $75,000–$85,000

Salary: $75,000–$85,000
Responsibilities
- Support lawyers with residential real estate transactions
- Conduct Land Titles, tax, and PPR searches
- Prepare and review purchase, mortgage, and related real estate documents
- Register and discharge Land Titles documents
- Manage trust funds related to transactions
- Draft correspondence and legal documents with minimal supervision
- Proofread documents for accuracy and formatting
- Provide file status updates to banks, clients, and stakeholders
- Manage multiple files while maintaining strong attention to detail and client service
- Approximately 10+ years of residential real estate paralegal experience
- Strong understanding of Alberta residential real estate transactions and Land Titles processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- 35-hour work week supporting strong work-life balance
- 3 weeks vacation
- 6 sick days plus 3 personal days
- Premiums are 75% employer paid / 25% employee paid
