Aplin has partnered with a leading Land Development company to identify a skilled and driven Project Coordinator for their growing team in Edmonton.

This Edmonton-based land development organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to assist in managing land development and construction projects. Responsibilities
  • Assist Development and Project Managers with coordinating and overseeing projects
  • Contribute to project planning and budgeting processes
  • Monitor various project aspects and ensure timelines are met
  • Provide administrative and tracking support for projects
  • Analyze project data and create reports, presentations, or communiques to summarize findings
  • Identify project challenges and recommend practical solutions
  • Act as a liaison with project stakeholders to ensure seamless communication
  • Track schedules, manage information requests, and disseminate information promptly
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and contracts
  • Research and compile market data into actionable reports
  • Support project delivery through tasks such as invoice approvals, marketing execution, tender coordination, and builder communications
  • Review and work with project drawings, development/site plans, and construction documentation
  • Take on additional responsibilities as part of a high-functioning small team
Key Attributes
  • Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills; Advanced MS Excel experience 
  • Resourceful with strong research and information-gathering capabilities
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with limited supervision
  • Adaptable under pressure while managing competing priorities
  • Comfortable interacting with senior leadership, consultants, contractors, municipal stakeholders, and field teams
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Planning, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in land development or related project environments such as:
    • Municipal infrastructure
    • Civil construction
    • Engineering consulting
    • Subdivision servicing
    • Site servicing or utility infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of land development, construction, tendering, project coordination, and project management processes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, development/site plans, and project documentation
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe products
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and database management considered an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks with excellent time management
  • High attention to detail in preparing reports and documentation
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required for occasional site visits/worksite inspections
