Business Analyst

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for an immediate long-term on-site opportunity in Winnipeg. 

Responsibilities

• Lead and support business analysis activities for healthcare information system implementation projects
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and process mapping sessions
• Develop current and future state workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support project planning activities including development of project scope, project plans, timelines, and schedules
• Coordinate project activities and provide ongoing status reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams
• Support healthcare service delivery process analysis and performance metric development within an ITIL environment
• Deliver end-user training and develop training materials, user guides, and process documentation
• Support organizational change management and user adoption activities
• Work with the Altera Sunrise suite of solutions to support implementation, enhancement, and optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
• Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Business Analysis
• Valid Prosci Certification
• Valid ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification
• 10+ years of experience in an analyst role supporting information system implementation projects and process mapping activities
• 6+ years of experience implementing projects within a healthcare environment
• 3+ years of experience in a project management or project lead role developing project scope, project plans, and maintaining project schedules
• 2+ years of experience mapping and analyzing healthcare service delivery processes within an ITIL environment including performance metrics
• 5+ years of experience supporting information system training through delivery of end-user training and development of training materials
• 4+ years of experience working with the Altera Sunrise suite of solutions in a healthcare environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Criminal background check is required
