Business Analyst

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst for an onsite contract opportunity in Winnipeg. This role will support complex healthcare transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on financial analysis, policy development, and enterprise system implementation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research, analysis, costing, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Perform comprehensive business analysis, including trend analysis, forecasting, and development of compensation and funding models
• Lead complex business policy and program analysis initiatives within a healthcare environment
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, workshops, and presentations with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Support large-scale business transformation programs, ensuring alignment across multiple concurrent projects
• Lead and mentor teams of analysts and business consultants, providing guidance and oversight on deliverables
• Drive and support organizational change initiatives within healthcare settings
• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions, with a focus on Patient Registration and Clinical Documentation
• Develop detailed documentation including business cases, requirements, process maps, and reports

 Required Qualifications

• Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required 
• PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification is required 
• Scrum Master certification is required
• Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Public Administration

 Experience

• 10+ years of experience conducting research, analysis, costing, forecasting, and modeling to support management decision-making within the healthcare sector
• 10+ years of business analysis experience, including trend analysis, forecasting, and development of financial or compensation models
• 5+ years of experience performing complex business policy and program analysis, including strong data analysis, costing, forecasting, and modeling
• 5+ years of experience leading analysts or business consultants in large-scale business transformation programs involving multiple concurrent projects
• 5+ years of experience implementing change initiatives within a healthcare environment
• 3+ years of experience implementing EHR solutions, specifically focused on Patient Registration and Clinical Documentation
• Criminal background check is required
