Business Analyst

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst for an immediate remote opportunity in the health care industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead business and systems analysis activities for healthcare IT implementation and upgrade projects
• Document, and validate detailed business, functional, and technical requirements from clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
• Facilitate process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments to support system design and optimization
• Support implementation and upgrade activities for Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems, including configuration and testing
• Work closely with clinical stakeholders to gather technical and configuration requirements for system enhancements
• Configure and support core hospital EPR modules, including Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT) and Clinical Documentation
• Lead and coordinate the work of a team of business analysts, providing direction, mentorship, and quality oversight
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and operational leaders to ensure successful project delivery
• Support organizational change management initiatives aligned with system implementations

 Qualifications:

• Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is required 
• Degree, diploma, or certificate in Business Analysis or a related field is required 
• Valid Prosci (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management certification is required 
• Valid ITIL Information Technology Service Management certification is required 

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience performing business and systems analysis in information system implementation projects, including process mapping
• 10+ years of experience eliciting requirements and supporting system implementations within a healthcare environment
• 8+ years of experience implementing or upgrading the Altera Sunrise suite of applications in a clinical setting, including gathering technical and configuration requirements
• 4+ years of hands-on experience configuring hospital EPR applications, including ADT and Clinical Documentation modules
• 5+ years of experience in a project team lead role, directing and planning the work of analysts on healthcare IT projects
• Criminal background check is required
