Business Analyst – remote

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for an immediate remote contract opportunity supporting a project within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and development of operational service delivery models
• Analyze current state workflows and design future state solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and working sessions to validate requirements and drive alignment
• Develop and present findings, recommendations, and business cases to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
• Support organizational change management initiatives, including readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, and change planning
• Lead or support organizational capability redesign efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
• Provide leadership and guidance to analysts and project team members where required
• Support implementation and optimization of healthcare systems, including EPR modules

 Certifications

• Certification in Prosci Change Management (required)
• Certification in Six Sigma Process Improvement Specialist (required)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, including developing operational service delivery models and presenting insights to stakeholders for decision-making
• 5+ years facilitating organizational capability redesign initiatives, including leading workshops, developing recommendations, and securing executive approvals
• 5+ years of leadership experience as a Team Lead or Project Manager overseeing analysts and consultants
• 1+ year of experience supporting provincial/state-level healthcare transformation initiatives, with a focus on home and community care
• 5+ years of experience supporting organizational change management activities, including:
  • Organizational readiness assessments
  • Stakeholder analysis
  • Development of change management plans
• 6+ years of experience performing analysis and implementing changes within a healthcare environment
• 7+ years of experience supporting or implementing Altera Sunrise EPR modules
• Criminal background check is required
