Human Resource Manager

Our Calgary-based client is looking for a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for the overall operations of the HR Department to support the corporate goals and objectives of the company. 

Reporting to the COO, the Human Resources Manager will lead the implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and development of the company's HR strategies and procedures. 

Duties:

• Manage the budget for HR administration and engage the organization to achieve business objectives
• Handle the full cycle recruitment of employees 
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance and initiate any required disciplinary action
• Organize the training of employees in order to ensure workforce flexibility and skills improvement
• Monitor HR related documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency of business processes
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal/provincial/ municipal laws and regulations
• Deliver training programs to the employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or any comparable degree
• 10-15 years HR experience
• A CPHR designation is required
• RPR designation preferred
• Experience with HRIS systems, including applicant tracking
