Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager for an immediate remote temporary assignment supporting critical healthcare initiatives. This role requires a senior professional who can step in quickly, lead complex projects independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project delivery, including developing detailed project plans and budgets, monitoring performance against defined tolerances, and providing regular reporting to project steering committees. You will lead initiatives spanning software development, workforce management systems, patient safety solutions, and clinical technologies, while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
A key component of this role includes integrating organizational change management strategies using structured methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR to support successful adoption across healthcare environments.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex healthcare projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Monitor project performance and report progress to steering committees and senior leadership
- Lead software development and system implementation projects within healthcare settings
- Develop business cases, including cost analysis, savings assessments, and recommendations across multiple sites
- Manage implementation of staff scheduling/workforce management systems
- Oversee projects related to patient safety and critical incident reporting solutions
- Support initiatives involving physiological monitoring devices and related technologies
- Integrate organizational change management strategies using Prosci ADKAR methodology
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Valid Prosci ADKAR Change Management certification
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a Project Manager in a healthcare environment
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing software development projects in healthcare
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering organizational change management using structured methodologies such as Prosci
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing multi-site business cases, including cost and savings analysis
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing staff scheduling/workforce management software
- Minimum 2 years of experience delivering patient safety and critical incident reporting solutions
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with physiological monitoring device projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-impact initiatives independently
- Criminal background check is required
