Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Advisor to join their HR team in a highly collaborative and strategic capacity. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing consultative support to drive people strategies that align with business objectives and organizational vision.

Compensation

  • Expected salary range is $95,000 - $110,000 annually, plus bonus (commensurate with experience)
What You Will Do
  • Provide strategic HR advice and coaching to senior leaders across areas including:
    • Workforce planning
    • Talent management
    • Employee relations
    • Compensation and organizational design
    • Employee engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor and employee advocate, supporting individuals on workplace-related matters
  • Manage and escalate complex employee relations issues in partnership with the Employee Relations & Centres of Excellence
  • Identify trends and emerging people-related risks across client groups; recommend and implement proactive solutions
  • Support key HR cycles such as talent reviews, performance management, and compensation planning
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects and initiatives, collaborating with HR partners and business stakeholders
  • Participate in cross-functional HR committees to share insights, best practices, and drive continuous improvement
  • Support the development and execution of talent strategies
  • Enhance leadership effectiveness by coaching senior leaders on people management, team dynamics, and organizational challenges
  • Contribute to a culture of high performance, engagement, and continuous development
 What You Will Bring
  • 6–9 years of progressive experience in Human Resources supporting a corporate client group
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset
  • Proven experience operating as a true HR business partner with senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Solid problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a diplomatic and solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong project management capabilities with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Experience within the financial services or insurance industry is preferred
