Change Management Specialist

Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a Change Management Specialist for an immediate onsite long term role in Winnipeg. We are seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist to support a complex healthcare transformation initiative. This is an on-site, term-based role requiring a senior professional who can lead organizational change activities and contribute to large-scale system and process implementations from day one.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate organizational change management (OCM) activities using the Prosci methodology, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and business processes. You will work closely with project teams, clinical stakeholders, and leadership to plan and execute change strategies, develop training materials, and support transition to future-state operating models. You will play a key role in healthcare transformation efforts, including system implementations and business process redesign, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, training, and readiness. Experience with the Altera Sunrise healthcare information system in an acute care environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute organizational change management strategies aligned with project objectives
• Plan, coordinate, and manage OCM activities using Prosci methodology
• Support large-scale healthcare transformation and system implementation initiatives
• Develop training materials and contribute to curriculum design for end users
• Engage stakeholders and support communication, readiness, and adoption activities
• Define and support transition to target operating models
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between change, training, and delivery activities
• Support initiatives involving emergency medical and paramedic services transformation

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Prosci Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification
• Valid PRINCE2 (Foundation or Practitioner) certification
• Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Minimum 9 years of experience managing projects or programs, including planning, budgeting, and team coordination
• Minimum 6 years of experience leading business process transformation projects in a healthcare environment
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a lead OCM role using Prosci methodology
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing training or curriculum in a healthcare setting
• Minimum 3 years of experience implementing the Altera Sunrise suite in an acute care environment (mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting transformative initiatives involving emergency medical or paramedic services
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Criminal record check required
