Our cilent is seeking a talented Civil Project Coordinator to join their team in Vancouver. This opportunity is available to candidates based in Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley, Surrey, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Chilliwack, Delta, and Richmond.

About Our Client
Our client is a respected and growing civil construction company operating across the Lower Mainland. They specialize in deep utilities, road infrastructure, and earthworks, and are known for quality work, a strong safety culture, and long-term team development.

About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be working with the site based team on projects  involving deep utilities, roadworks, and large-scale earthworks. Your role will include influencing site safety, and ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.

About The Position
  • Assist with change orders; obtain quotes, assess costs and impacts to project schedule.
  • Assist with project completion close-outs.
  • Maintain and distribute site records; post records to company document management system and assemble documents to support claims.
  • Administer requests for information; liaise with project team, client, and subcontractors, and attend site/project meetings as required.
  • Coordinate inspections and acquire permits.
  • Coordinate selection and purchase of materials and services for the project including administration of purchase orders; liaise with suppliers.
  • Oversee accurate completion of all site paperwork including time sheets, dailies, invoices, and work records for accurate cost coding to applicable contract items.
  • Work with all on-site personnel, as required, to identify and resolve issues, ensure quality control, and support the overall project schedule and goals.
  • Support and confirm performance of the health & safety and environmental requirements of the work.
The Requirements
  • 1-3 years’ experience in civil, earthworks and underground utilities.
  • Proficient in software including MS Project, MS Office and Bluebeam.
  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering technology.
Compensation
  • $75,000 - $85,000 DOE.
