Financial Reporting Manager

As the business moves into the exciting production stage, our client is seeking a strategic Financial Reporting Manager to help them through this next phase of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designated CPA with 4+ years of relevant experience to step into a high-impact role, working closely with an accomplished leadership team!

ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements, including drafting initial financials and MD&A.
• Handle technical accounting matters, working closely with the team in Mexico to ensure appropriate accounting treatment across entities.
• Manage the corporate budgeting process, including building budgets and monitoring budget vs. actuals with clear variance analysis.
• Support treasury activities such as cash flow monitoring and overall liquidity management.
• Work on corporate tax returns and support the implementation of tax planning strategies between Canada and Mexico.
• Oversee day-to-day corporate accounting to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Act as the key liaison between corporate and the Mexico finance team, ensuring alignment and smooth communication.
• Support and improve internal controls by reviewing processes and implementing enhancements where needed.
• Ad hoc duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Mining experience is an asset

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $100,000 to $120,000
• 3 to 4 weeks vacation
