Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Lead quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation for competitive proposals.
- Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify project requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Bluebeam to develop and present estimates.
- Coordinate with suppliers, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing and scope clarity.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project handovers when required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
- Proven track record of preparing accurate and competitive estimates.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
