About the Position
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee civil construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and subcontractors to ensure efficient execution of construction activities.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project plans to ensure work meets engineering standards and project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement solutions to maintain timelines and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies on all job sites.
- Communicate regularly with clients, consultants, and internal teams to provide updates and address project needs.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including budgets, change orders, progress reports, and permits.
- Support site teams by coordinating logistics, materials, and equipment to maintain smooth project operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing civil construction projects, preferably in infrastructure or utility work.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, drawings, specifications, and project scheduling.
- Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and project timelines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards within construction environments
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Professional designation or eligibility for registration (e.g., EIT, P.Eng., or equivalent) considered an asset
- Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 DOE
- 3 weeks’ vacation
